My Name is Eduarda Miranda, but everyone calls me Duda. I became interested in pursuing graphic design after landing an intern position for a marketing company called Adorn located in Orange County, California. After six months of working beside the creative director and having the pleasure to explore all the roles within the company, I decided that I would be well suited for graphic design. After my internship ended, I had an opportunity to move back to Frederick, Maryland, and go back to school full time. My ideal plan is to finish my Associate’s degree at Frederick Community College and continue my education at Maryland Institute College of Art, with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.

I was born and raised in Goiania, Brazil. I moved to Frederick, Maryland, at the age of twelve with no idea how to speak English. I learned to speak English fluently in six months with the help of subtitles on TV and a full-time public school. Cultural industries like newspapers, movies, internet services, songs, and the rest of the mass media have significantly impacted my choices for as long as I can remember. The impact was so significant that it influenced me at twenty-five years to move to Los Angeles, California, where I got my marketing experience. For fun, I enjoy experimenting with paint and creating art on canvas, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Procreate. I am a certified yoga instructor who loves to travel, read, explore, and learn. Through out my life, I have learned the importance of creating many inner defenses, becoming valiant in the face of all adverse circumstances, and coming to know that struggle is the law of life, which must be confronted, not once, but a thousand times, and not with vaciliation , but by being fully conscious of the inescapable. I continuously hope to gain as much knowledge throughout my life, due to the importance I put on myself, of being conscious of my own existence to the best of my ability. Dedicating myself to study my life requires constant activity in order to build more enthusiasm, more vigor, and more livelihood in the future we are all called to fulfill.

Mi Nombre es Eduarda Miranda, pero todos me dicen Duda. Me interesé en dedicarme al diseño gráfico después de conseguir un puesto de pasante en una empresa de marketing llamada Adorn ubicada en el condado de Orange, California. Después de seis meses de trabajar al lado del director creativo y tener el placer de explorar todos los roles dentro de la empresa, decidí que estaría bien preparado para el diseño gráfico. Después de que terminó mi pasantía, tuve la oportunidad de regresar a Frederick, Maryland, y volver a la escuela a tiempo completo. Mi plan ideal es terminar mi título de Asociado en Frederick Community College y continuar mi educación en Maryland Institute College of Art, con una licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico.

Nací y crecí en Goiania, Brasil. Me mudé a Frederick, Maryland, a la edad de doce años sin tener idea de cómo hablar inglés. Soy una instructora de yoga certificada a la que le encanta viajar, leer, explorar y aprender. A lo largo de mi vida he aprendido la importancia de crear muchas defensas internas, ser valiente frente a todas las circunstancias adversas y llegar a saber que la lucha es la ley de la vida, la cual debe ser enfrentada, no una, sino mil veces. , y no con vacilación, sino siendo plenamente consciente de lo ineludible. Espero continuamente adquirir la mayor cantidad de conocimiento a lo largo de mi vida, debido a la importancia que me doy a mí mismo, de ser consciente de mi propia existencia lo mejor que pueda. Dedicarme a estudiar mi vida requiere una actividad constante para construir más entusiasmo, más vigor y más sustento en el futuro que todos estamos llamados a cumplir.
